About Dr. Anne Worth
Growing up in a home filled with instability, I trusted no one but myself and adopted three slogans: I can do it, don’t trust anyone, and never give in. Those early decisions left me feeling lonely and longing for love. For forty years, I looked for that love in all the wrong places, with all the wrong people, and in all the wrong ways. I accomplished much of what the world considers success, but no amount of money, educational degrees, or prestige could fill the emptiness. My own efforts ended up in addiction, divorce, abortion, shame, guilt, and despair. I had not learned about that sacred place that only God can fill.
As a desperate 55-year-old woman, suffering from an incurable disease, I finally arrived at the last place I ever wanted to go: a church. I signed up for a workshop for people who needed a second chance with God. I never expected to meet God, but He was there waiting for me. He had always been waiting, although I never knew it. The peace and healing I sought all my life rested on me like a warm blanket. He wants to wrap our hearts in love and hope.
Even if you’ve pushed Him away, even if you doubt Him and are angry with Him, God loves you, and there is nothing you can do about it!
